Hello viewers! Great Synonym welcomes you to another interesting blog post on words. In today’s blog, I’m going to show you the CVCC words list. Read the blog till the end. I hope you will get a lot to learn.
What is the CVCC Words List?
The CVCC words list is a list of such words that follow the letter sequence of Consonant-Vowel-Consonant-Consonant. Those who don’t know what are vowels and consonants must read our blog post on CVCC words. It will give you a better understanding. Here is a short explanation of vowels and consonants:
- Vowels: In English Alphabet, just 5 letters out of 26 are our vowels. Vowels help beginners or kids to pronounce the words easily. Vowels give open sound. Almost all dictionary words have one vowel letter. I’m not saying that all dictionary words must have one vowel. Fly, Cry, etc. are words that don’t have any vowels. Vowels give open sound. Words including one, more than one, or all vowels are called vowel words. Example: bed, east, etc.
- Consonants: Consonants are the exact opposite of vowels. Letters other than vowels are called consonants. Consonants have a closed sound. Consonants help to connect the letters in the making of words. Words consisting of one, more than one, or all consonants are called consonant words. Example: eulogy, cyst, fry, etc.
