What is the Role of Language?
Language plays a key role in our lives and society. I think it is good to say this is the language that keeps society alive and engaged. Not just a language but a great use of language makes one’s personality better and life more easy. Maybe You already know the fact that I’m gonna tell you in a moment. But what I’ll tell you next, gonna explore your mind and make an amazed look on my viewers’ cute faces.
The first one is that there is almost half of the population of the entire world that can speak multiple languages, two, three, four languages, or maybe more. But the shocking news here is that the English dictionary assigns a unique term to such a class who can speak multiple languages. The word we are talking about is Multilingualism.
Multilingualism:
A word, Multilingualism in a dictionary means an ability to speak multiple languages. It can be two, three, four, or more but the least criteria to qualify is two. A person must have known two languages to be considered as Multilingual. This is what such a person is called. A person who can speak more than one language is called a Multilingual, this is a proper definition.
Multilingualism is as important as more than one source of income. If you meet someone who speaks a different language, you can easily communicate with them. Because this is language that helps you communicate with people with confidence. Imagine trying to learn another language after reading this article. You tell your friends that you’ve got some really cool information in a blog post from Great Synonym, and it says, If a person can speak at least two languages, the English Dictionary honours him with the word multilingual.
The fact that “nearly every nation on Earth has a different language” is the most significant component of multilingualism’s significance. Most people move to another nation for a variety of reasons, including employment, education, travel, etc. It’s essential to speak the local language while relocating to any other nation. This can help us comprehend the value of multilingualism.
Beauty of Language:
Language can improve your personality and make you more confident. Even simple information on language can make you confident enough to dominate a debate on this topic. This is what I was trying to say before: how well you speak can have a great impact on your personality. There is a list of factors that have a direct impact on our personalities. And one of them is language, which we never consider seriously.
If an individual has to express himself, this is the beauty of language that helps him communicate with others. Whether it is crucial or not, we begin each day by speaking with someone. How can we conduct this communication effectively? Obviously, this is language we have to use consistently throughout the day. We must claim that language plays a significant role in any society to bring individuals to the same level.
Discrimination Free:
Ok just think of it. All the humans are not equal. Now I’m gonna defend what I just said. Those who disagree with my opinion, just stay there and be calm. Give me a time to explain it. Let’s suppose all humans are equal. Then why not every individual born into a rich family? Why are some of us economically the strongest ones and the rest are not? Why don’t we all have legal equal rights, rules, and regulations? They are also different. Good and human-friendly rules are enjoying all the rich people.
When comes to complexity and hard rule implementation, it is always the poor who have to suffer. Then how are all we equal? They have divided the world into two categories; the poor and the rich. And always there is a win-win condition for the rich ones. Although it’s a long debate, someday we will discuss the topic. But for now, what I want to say is that again this is language that puts all humans on an equal footing. No judgment factor.
Diversification:
Every individual has a language that gives him the same representation as others of the same language. There is no language discrimination, and let’s suppose it exists. What factors do you use to decide it? What would you say if someone avoided speaking any language just because it was popular in some areas? Obviously, it makes no sense at all. If you are such a language hater, your only option is to pick up a new one.
Wait a second. If you want to learn a new language just because you hate someone who speaks the same language, congratulations! You’ve just won the World Dumbest of All Time award. And don’t worry; you don’t have to go anywhere to get the reward. All you have to do is comment under my post,” I won that reward.” And it will be delivered to your address. And I’ll make sure to deliver on time. By the way, I just tried to make it fun so that you wouldn’t get bored.
The whole point of all that nonsense is to tell you that this is language; this is going to remain wonderful no matter what we do.
Conclusion:
This is all of our today’s blog. All of us ‘have a specific friend’s circle where we feel safe and secure sharing our emotions. Similar to this scenario, language has a unique ability to create a strong and healthy bond among its speakers and makes it obligatory for them to love each other.
